Melissa Cordial-Stout, BOCO is a highly experienced cranial remolding specialist originally from southeast Michigan. She graduated from Baker College in 2005 with a degree in Orthotic & Prosthetic Technology and quickly developed a passion for pediatric orthotic care. From 2006 to 2012, Melissa worked in Dallas, Texas, where she was an integral part of the STAR Cranial Center and also managed a post-operative cranial clinic in Shreveport, Louisiana.

In 2010, Melissa earned her BOC Certification and has since dedicated more than 15 years exclusively to the treatment of cranial remolding patients. She currently serves as Orthotic Team Lead at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she has been a valued member of the team for 13 years. Melissa’s expertise extends beyond clinical care; her research in cranial orthotics has been published in the Journal of Prosthetics and Orthotics. She is also a recognized speaker, having presented at past Star Summits and the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists meetings.

Passionate about advancing the field, Melissa is committed to educating peers and clinicians on best practices to ensure successful cranial remolding outcomes.
