Kandice Mitchell, LPOA, COA, NREMT-P, is a dedicated orthotic and prosthetic professional with over 10 years of experience as an Orthotic Prosthetic Assistant, working specifically with Gary Horton, LO, CO, and specializing in pediatric orthotics. Her career in patient care began in 2006 as an EMT and later shifted to a National Registry Paramedic in 2013.
In 2015, she chose to pursue a career in the medical field that allowed her to spend more time with her daughter. She became a licensed prosthetic orthotic assistant in 2018 and recently earned her ABC Certified Orthotic Assistant credential. Her passion lies in discovering innovative ways to support pediatric patients, especially those with complex conditions, by tailoring solutions beyond traditional diagnoses to meet individual patient needs.
Outside of work, Kandice enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, traveling, exploring the outdoors, and furthering her education.
