Jennifer Richards, MA, CPO, is a certified prosthetist orthotist at the University of Michigan Health Orthotics and Prosthetics Center and an adjunct faculty member at the International Institute of Orthotics and Prosthetics.
She is a clinician, a teacher, and a researcher. Her research questions are driven by her desire to answer her patients’ questions and to provide evidence-based clinical care. She values every opportunity to determine whether current practices are effective and to improve the care provided or the guidance given to families based on empirical evidence.
