Cassie Mathis, CPO is the owner and lead practitioner of Baby Bear Cranial Clinic, a pediatric orthotic practice she founded in 2020. A certified prosthetist-orthotist with more than 13 years of experience, Cassie specializes in cranial remolding helmets and early intervention orthotic care for infants and toddlers.

She launched Baby Bear with the belief that educating and empowering families is one of the most effective ways to support children—and that philosophy has become the foundation of the clinic’s care approach. By creating a welcoming space where parents feel heard, supported, and confident in their child’s treatment, Cassie has built Baby Bear into a trusted resource for families.

Cassie earned her degrees in Kinesiology and Business Administration from UW–Eau Claire and went on to complete her orthotic and prosthetic certifications at Northwestern University and Cal State Dominguez Hills. Before opening her own clinic, she worked in a variety of orthotics and prosthetics settings, gaining a broad foundation of expertise. Today, she regularly shares her knowledge with both parents and professionals on topics such as cranial care, collaborative treatment planning, and the small steps that can make a big impact for families.
